Frequently Asked Questions

Here you will find the answers to all your questions

Acoustic wall panels are the latest interior trend! The slatted wall panels can be attached to both the wall and the ceiling. In addition to giving the space a stylish boost, they are also sound-absorbing! This significantly improves the acoustics in the room, allowing you to enjoy your new acoustic panels in peace and quiet!

Yes! The acoustic wall panels reduce reverberation significantly, making the space much more pleasant to experience! The wall panels are among the most sound-absorbing wooden panels, as the wooden slats are placed on felt.

Acoustic panels are built with a base layer of acoustic PET felt, a durable material that offers excellent sound performance. On top of that, 9mm thick MDF slats are used, and the panels are finished with a 0.45mm thick layer of real wood veneer, giving them a warm, stylish appearance.

At Homepanel, we pride ourselves on offering the highest quality acoustic panels at the best prices in the market. What sets us apart from other suppliers is our commitment to both durability and style. We use premium materials, such as acoustic PET felt for optimal sound absorption and real wood veneer for a natural, elegant finish. Our panels are designed to not only improve acoustics but also enhance the aesthetic of any space.

The acoustic panels can be placed anywhere you want to improve acoustics while adding a sleek and warm design. Consider areas such as the hallway, living room, bedroom, or any other space where sound absorption is desired. However, please note that the panels are not resistant to moisture and should not be placed in areas where they will come into direct contact with water or high humidity.

We strongly advise against mounting the panels in damp areas, such as outdoors or in bathrooms. The panels are suitable for placement under a canopy, as long as the area is closed and not damp.

The acoustic wall panels measure 260 x 60 x 1.8 cm (length x width x height).

Installation

It’s very easy to install the panels. Most people can do it themselves. If you have even a little bit of handy skills and know how to use a screwdriver and saw, you should be able to install the panels on your own. Alternatively, you can also attach them using adhesive, making the installation process even more flexible and hassle-free!

Absolutely, this is very easy. The panels can be cut with any saw (we recommend using a circular saw), and if you need to cut through the felt, you can simply use a stanley knife.

Yes, this is possible. It’s a more permanent solution than mounting with screws, as a strong adhesive or high-tack caulk needs to be used. This means the wall may get damaged if the panels ever need to be removed.

We recommend using one tube high tack glue for every two panels. For the screws, we recommend using one screw set per panel.

The type of screws you need depends on the type of wall or surface the panels will be mounted on. In some cases, you may need wall plugs to ensure the panels are securely mounted. You will need screws that are suitable for your specific surface. We recommend using black drywall screws so that the screws are nearly invisible in the black felt.

If you have sockets or switches on the wall, the best solution is to cut a hole in the panel. This allows you to properly integrate the electrical points into the panels.

You can mount the panels on any surface, including stone and concrete walls. The panels can be glued or screwed to the wall.

Orders and payments

Yes, absolutely! You can easily order these online in the webshop.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide the panels in custom sizes. The panels come in a standard size of 260 x 60 cm. However, you can easily adjust them to the desired size yourself. The panels can be shortened with any saw. The felt can be easily cut with a stanley knife, for example. It’s incredibly simple!
